ANA COUTO BRANDING WORKSHOP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH INSTITUTO RIO MODA
In partnership with the Rio Moda Institute, our team held the 2nd Workshop “Branding: Do you know what it is or pretend to know?” on Friday evening and Saturday, August 16th and 17th. The event was attended by 25 people and took place at our Rio de Janeiro office.
During the meeting, questions about Branding, Brand Platform, Naming, and Design allowed participants to understand the process of creating and managing a brand.
Through various activities, the groups simulated the AC methodology through exercises such as defining the Essence and Positioning of the Brand, creating names and... moodboard creative.
Two scholarships were offered through a Cultural Contest, awarding the two best names for a fashion brand – “Amor à trama”, by Marina Riecken, and “HELL.O”, by Marcos Sasso.
The meeting was facilitated by the Director of Communication, Bruno Israel, the Design Manager, Hugo Rafael, and the Strategy Executive, Augusta Tolmasquim. According to Bruno, the result was intense, with a mix of theory and practice on Value Proposition, Positioning, and Naming. "The best part is hearing from the participants at the end of the workshop that thinking about a business, a name, or a brand without a strategy is like 'working in the dark'," he says.
